A2: Elementary Level

Duration: 2.5 months

A2 marks a stage of progressive immersion, where learners move beyond the basics and begin to engage in simple yet meaningful conversations. At this level, students refine their ability to communicate in everyday situations—whether it's navigating public transport, shopping, or describing their daily routines.

What sets this phase apart is the intentional integration of cultural understanding. Trainers and mentors place special emphasis on cultivating in students the “manners of the land”—the subtle social cues, customs, and etiquette that shape communication in German-speaking societies.

This cultural grounding is not ornamental; it is essential. Just as oil eases the movement of a hinge, so too does cultural awareness smooth the path of language acquisition. Learners begin to grasp not only what to say, but how and when to say it—an insight that transforms language from a mechanical tool into a living, breathing medium of connection.

About Us

Although there is a growing trend in international emigration from states like Kerala and Tamil Nadu, especially among youth seeking education and employment abroad, students and individuals from poor and marginalized communities remain largely excluded. Barriers such as lack of funding, awareness, and access to essential information prevent them from pursuing global education and career paths.

Recognizing this critical gap and the need for safe migration, language proficiency, and cultural integration, the Latin Archdiocese of Trivandrum located at the sea coast of Kerala, south India established the Waves International Language Learning (WILL) Centre through Trivandrum Social Service Society (TSSS), which is the social action wing of the Archdiocese in order to equip the aspirants especially from disadvantaged backgrounds with the language skills and cultural integration primarily required to thrive in international academic and work environments promoting inclusive access to global opportunities, ensuring no one is left behind due to their socio-economic status.
